Eagle unit let at Fradley Park
F & C REIT Asset Management has completed the letting of an industrial warehouse in Fradley Park – a 300 acre distribution and warehousing centre in the West Midlands – to motion and fluid control firm Norgren Ltd.
Norgren has taken the 104,014 sq.ft. (9,663 sq.m. ) Eagle building in Lichfield, Staffordshire, on a new 15-year lease without breaks. The warehouse includes a secure 50 metre deep yard area, 12 metre eaves height, 8 dock level loading doors and with 4 ground level loading doors.
Norgren have advised that in relocating from its long established site on Eastern Avenue in Lichfield, the firm will undertake an extensive programme of fit out works to create a ‘centre of excellence’ at the site. Nicholas Mehangra, asset manager at F & C REIT, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Norgren as tenants to Fradley Park, who represent yet another high quality occupier choosing to make its home at the site. This letting, together with the recent letting of the Kestrel building, takes the warehouse occupation on the Park to 100%.”
Andrew Buckman of letting agents Kingston CPC said “This has been a challenging and complicated transaction due to the specialist nature of the operations to be relocated, which involved increased service supplies, planning consents and building adaptation works.”
